The Indian cricket players arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport on Wednesday afternoon to play in the tri-nation Compaq Cup One-Day International competition.
The 15-member Indian squad arrived on board an Air India flight from Bangalore after their planned Jet Airways flight got cancelled due to the on-going pilots' strike of the private airline.
Air India operated a unique flight from Chennai at 1100hrs reach Bangalore from where it picked up the Men In Blue, including captain Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and R P Singh, who were busy playing for the Air India team in the BCCI corporate trophy.
