Pakistan Skipper Younis Khan will miss the opening match

Pakistani skipper Younis Khan has been skipped out of his team's starting match of the ICC Champions Trophy against the West Indies tomorrow with a hairline fracture. All rounder Shahid Afridi will step up and go ahead his country in Khan's nonexistence.

Pakistan took the Cricket world by gale when they won the ICC Champions Trophy in England this summer. Few gave Pakistan a chance of winning the title after an embarrassing defeat to England in their opening match, but little by little they recovered and ended up defeating Sri Lanka in the final at Lord's, much to the happiness of their adoring fans.

Since that amazing run in England, Pakistan was beaten in a Test and ODI series in Sri Lanka. It is hard to see Pakistan going all the way and winning the Champions Trophy, but they have the fire-power and flamboyance in their team that always make them dangerous.

If Pakistan can find their best form, then they have a shot at once again upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the title.
