Dravid Completes his 11000 Runs in his Test history

Rahul Dravid on Monday became the second Indian to complete 11,000 Test runs when he took a single to take his individual score to 177 (not out) in opposition to Sri Lanka on Day 1 of the first Test in Ahmedabad.

The hosts, who were stumbled at 32 for four wickets at the start, ended the day at 389 for six.

Yuvraj was the first one to reach the half-century and was out at 68.

The partnership between Yuvraj and Dravid was 125 runs. Later, Dhoni joined Dravid and took India out of troubled waters. Dhoni made 110 before getting out. On the other end, Rahul Dravid kept his cool and completed 11,000 runs. At the close of the day, he was at 177 while night watchman Harbhajan was at 2 runs.
